Overview of the week

So here is the work I completed during my Monday Illustration class where we had to draw each of my class mates faces from life. We started off the lesson by drawing the person next to us face and had 20 mins to complete it. This eventually got more and more harder as we were tasked with drawing that persons face in less and less time. We would then swap partners and draw their face in a different media and try using different techniques. For me this was using pen, pencils and chalk and using techniques like keeping the pen on the paper, not looking at the work and trying my left hand.It was rather fun and very enjoyable, along with being a good ice breaker by getting to know everyone in the group.

What went well?  I actually feel rather happy with my work that I have created and have learnt different techniques that I can use to create quick portraits that look detailed. I also feel a little more confident in myself. Even better if? Perhaps I could of tried to do more drawings in different media instead of sticking to what I'm use to: Pencils and Pens.
